Equip your transceiver with this 1kW linear amplifier for 10-80m. Use it for better clarity when propagation might be difficult.

Power is adjustable between 0-1kW output.

High gain. Fully tuned it will produce slightly over 1 kilowatt when fed with 100 Watts. With an input of 10 Watts the AMP will give about 150 Watts output.

Manual:

1. Select a HF band such as 40m

2. Click the A button to turn the AMP on.

3..Click the T button for tuning (dry run, does NOT emit any signal)

4. Set the input power to about 10 -20Watts

5. Adjust the PLATE for best output

6. Adjust the LOAD for best outout

7. Alternatively adjust PLATE and LOAD carefully to tune it properly for max output.

8. Click A to set the AMP in Active mode

9. Adjust your input to max 100 Watts and you should be good to go

Please note 1!  This plug-in does not work on the160m band.

Please note 2!  This is an extra final amp and the output power from the AMP will not show on HamSphere power instruments. So when you feed the final with 100 Watts it will still show 100 Watts on the instruments when the amp is engaged. The true power can be read on the display of the amp itself.
