The H-Quad Loop antenna has a fair amount of gain on all bands. However, like any other standing-wave resonant type multi-band fixed wire length antenna, it too has its idiosyncrasies. Due to this peculiarity, this antenna as well as antenna like G5RV and various OCFD antennas sport multiple lobes around the 360 degrees of azimuth. Therefore you will experience a few pockets of null (minima) on the azimuth section... Other than this shortcoming H-Quad Loop is a pretty nice antenna..
